Price alerts notify you the moment a stock hits your target price โ so you never miss a trade entry or exit. Momentum IQ sends alerts via the app, WhatsApp, and email.
How to Create an Alert
- Go to Alerts โ New Alert from the dashboard
- Search for the NSE stock or index (e.g., RELIANCE, NIFTY 50)
- Choose the condition:
- Price above โ triggers when LTP exceeds your target
- Price below โ triggers when LTP falls below your target
- % up from now โ triggers when price rises X% from current level
- % down from now โ triggers when price falls X% from current level
- Enter your target price or percentage
- Choose notification method (App / WhatsApp / Email)
- Toggle Recurring if you want the alert to reset after triggering
- Click Set Alert

Recurring vs One-Time Alerts
- One-time โ alert fires once and deactivates. Use for specific levels you want to act on immediately
- Recurring โ alert resets after triggering and monitors again. Useful for daily levels like VWAP or key support/resistance
Set a recurring % up alert on your watchlist stocks to catch momentum breakouts. A 3% single-day move on NSE often signals the start of a larger trend.

Managing Alerts
Go to Alerts โ My Alerts to see all active and triggered alerts. You can:
- Edit the target price of an existing alert
- Pause alerts temporarily without deleting them
- Delete alerts that are no longer needed
- View the history of triggered alerts with timestamp and price
